Nicholas Joseph Knoth, 20, of Huntington Beach, was riding his motorcycle northbound on May 8, 2010, at about 8:11 a.m. on Edwards Street and Homer Street in Westminster when he appeared to have moved in front of a 18-wheeler big-rig truck and lost control of his motorcycle, according to Westminster Police officers.
Knoth was then run over and killed. The authorities are looking for anyone who may have witnessed the motorcycle accident. Right now the driver of the big rig is not considered to be at fault. Neighbors say that Knoth was a wonderful kid and had bought the motorcycle recently.
The loss of a 20-year old son is irrecoverable. The family will have a tough time to get over their loss. We pray that they are blessed with courage to go through this sad phase.
