Los Angeles Hit & Run Motorcycle Accident Injures Biker

A motorcyclist sustained critical injuries after he was hit by Mario Dominguez, a 39-year old car driver from La Puente, at the intersection of Valley Boulevard and Hacienda Boulevard in the City of Industry on May 22, 2010. Dominguez collided with a biker while making his car turn left and fled from the accident scene.

Los Angeles County Sherriff Deputies sited Domiguez shortly after the hit-and-run motorcycle accident and arrested him on suspicion of causing the injury accident.  The motorcyclist suffered major injuries including liver damage, broken ribs, and a punctured leg although he is expected to survive.  He was taken to Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center for treatment

Our heart goes out to the injured biker who has suffered so much pain due to Dominguez’s carelessness and then utter disregard for his well-being. If Dominguez is found guilty, he will likely be sent to jail for violation of California Vehicle Code 20001(a) which makes it a felony for anyone to leave the scene of a motor vehicle accident that causes injury.
