Two unidentified motorcyclists suffered injuries in a serious motorcycle accident that occurred on April 29, 2011, in Cajon Pass in San Bernardino County. According to the responding California Highway Patrol Officers, the two motorcyclists collided with each other due to unknown reasons at Interstate 15 just south of Highway 138.
Kevin Heggstrom, 51, a Westminster High School technician was killed in a fatal Riverside County motorcycle accident that occurred on April 19, 2011, morning on a desert road near El Centro. According to the Riverside County Coroner’s Office, Heggstrom was riding his 2004 BMW motorcycle when he failed to negotiate a curve on Borrego Salton Seaway, ran off the road, and crashed into boulders due to unknown reasons. The accident happened on the roadway into Anza-Borrego Desert State Park, just west of State Route 86.
Jose Quinones, 46, was struck and killed in a fatal motorcycle accident in Diamond Bar that occurred on April 1, 2011, around 8:10 a.m. just west of Diamond Bar Boulevard in Los Angeles County, approximately 123 miles from San Diego. According to the California Highway Patrol, Quinones lost control of his Kawasaki motorcycle and was thrown in front of an oncoming 2007 Honda Accord driven by Hussein Abuatieh, 50.
