53-year-old Reynaldo Newman of Carlsbad died in a solo motorcycle wreck that occurred on August 15, 2011, around 9:45 a.m. in the 2500 block of Harmony Grove Road in Escondido. According to county Medical Examiner’s Office, Newman was riding east when he lost control of his bike, stumbled down a 30-foot-high bank, and landed on a pile of concrete in an industrial yard.
56-year-old Leon Livingston of San Diego died in a Poway motorcycle wreck on August 7, 2011, around 3 p.m. on state Route 67 (SR-67) near Scripps Poway Parkway. According to the Medical Examiner’s Office, Livingston rear-ended a vehicle that made an abrupt stop directly in front of him.
