Fatal Inland Hit-And-Run Big-Rig Accident Kills Motorcyclist

43-year-old John Michael King was killed in Cathedral City truck while he was riding his bike on October 26, 2011, around 4:49 a.m. along the 67700 block of East Palm Canyon Drive in Cathedral City. According to coroner’s officials, 49-year-old big-rig trucker Arnold Mejangos Beltran made a U-turn in front of the biker. King swerved to avoid hitting the truck trailer, struck a curb in front of Boomers, and was fatally injured.

Fatal Newbury Park Motorcycle Accident Kills Biker

23-year-old Maxwell Martin Carpenter was killed in a tragic motorcycle wreck that occurred on October 20, 2011, just before midnight at the intersection of Wendy Drive and Peppermint Street. According to Ventura County Sheriff’s Department, Carpenter lost control of his bike, hit the west curb, and then a street sign.

Fatal Motorcycle Wreck Near Julian Kills Biker

53-year-old Rogelio Malihan was killed in a serious motorcycle wreck that occurred on October 8, 2011, around 11:50 a.m. state Route 79 (SR-79) near Pine Hills Road. According to the California Highway Patrol, Malihan was riding with his son and friend, each on his own motorcycle.

Motorcyclist Hurt in Sage Car Accident

An unidentified biker suffered serious injuries in a motorcycle accident that occurred on October 9, 2011, around 12:52 p.m. on DePortola Road west of Saddle Ridge in Sage. According to Riverside County Fire Department, the motorcyclist collided with a car, leaving him seriously injured. The victim was immediately airlifted to a nearby hospital for treatment. The driver of the car was not hurt.

Fatal Spring Valley Motorcycle Accident Kills Biker

27-year-old Paul Swayze suffered fatal injuries in a bike wreck that occurred on October 2, 2011, around 2 a.m. at the intersection of Willow Street and Bonita Road in Spring Valley. According to the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office, Swayze lost control his motorcycle and was hurled into a fence.
