According to the San Bernardino County coroner’s office, the bike that Beatty was driving collided with a car while it was turning at Garnet Street.

27-year-old Paul Swayze suffered fatal injuries in a bike wreck that occurred on October 2, 2011, around 2 a.m. at the intersection of Willow Street and Bonita Road in Spring Valley. According to the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office, Swayze lost control his motorcycle and was hurled into a fence.
A 79-year-old motorcyclist suffered serious injuries in Corona solo-motorcycle wreck that occurred on September 12, 2011, near Corona gas station. According to Corona Fire Department Officials, the biker was leaving the fueling station when he suddenly accelerated and struck the block wall.
53-year-old Reynaldo Newman of Carlsbad died in a solo motorcycle wreck that occurred on August 15, 2011, around 9:45 a.m. in the 2500 block of Harmony Grove Road in Escondido. According to county Medical Examiner’s Office, Newman was riding east when he lost control of his bike, stumbled down a 30-foot-high bank, and landed on a pile of concrete in an industrial yard.
56-year-old Leon Livingston of San Diego died in a Poway motorcycle wreck on August 7, 2011, around 3 p.m. on state Route 67 (SR-67) near Scripps Poway Parkway. According to the Medical Examiner’s Office, Livingston rear-ended a vehicle that made an abrupt stop directly in front of him.
44-year-old L.A. resident Constance Wooten suffered serious injuries in a motorcycle accident that occurred on August 5, 2011, around 4:40 a.m. along the northbound lanes of Interstate 15 (I-15) south of Highway 395 near the desert community of Oak Hills.
A 43-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a serious motorcycle accident that occurred on July 22, 2011, around 7:20 p.m. near the Campo Indian Reservation. According to California Highway Patrol Officer Brian Pennings, the victim was driving his Suzuki motorcycle when he drifted off the state Route 94 (SR-94) and struck a power pole. The victim was wearing a helmet at the time of accident.
An unidentified motorist was killed in a head-on car accident that occurred on July 19, 2011, around 6:38 a.m. at Golden Era Studios in Gilman Hot Springs. According to the responding California Highway Patrol Officers, a maroon Volvo and a white Chevy truck was involved in this head-on wreck. One of the drivers was pronounced dead at the accident scene around 7:11 a.m.
