An unidentified 26-year-old male motorcyclist was killed in a Los Angeles freeway motorcycle accident that occurred on May 6, 2011, around 2 a.m. in the Highland Park area of the city. According to the responding California Highway Patrol Officer, Patrick Kimball, the biker was struck by an SUV on the southbound Pasadena Freeway (SR-110).
On November 26, 2009, a 20 year-old motorcyclist was killed on the 101 Freeway when he crashed into a metal guardrail at approximately 100 mph. The Los Angeles motorcycle rider was not identified immediately following the crash, but it is known that he lived in Sherman Oaks, CA. He was pronounced dead an hour later at Sherman Oaks Hospital.
